Meet the EastCoast Team

Good People Doing Good Work

EastCoast Transport continues a long tradition of supporting food banks nationwide. For any and all surplus or mistaken orders, we coordinate the speedy delivery of produce, dry goods, and any food and beverage products and supplies to local food banks throughout the United States. It’s just one of the ways we help contribute, and help our clients contribute to local communities and give to those in need.

We also have many staff members who valiantly serve their communities as firefighters and emergency responders, and who demonstrate their integrity and dedication at work and at home. That’s why we like to say that, “ECT people aren’t just good workers, they’re great people!”

Manuel (Mannie) J. Bueno

Manuel (Mannie) J. Bueno

Senior Vice President
Mannie doesn’t accept excuses from his team or himself. He’s at his best when he has to shoulder the responsibility and he instills the ECT team with a “take ownership” attitude. Mannie is a 40 year industry veteran who’s worked at the management and executive levels for a number of logistics, warehousing and manufacturing and distribution companies. Mannie is also a creative problem solver with excellent communication skills, traits that serve ECT customers very well and give us a distinct industry advantage. |

Personally, Mannie volunteers as an EMS and firefighter and was at ground zero on 9-11. He is proud to have delivered three babies while on duty and has been recognized for saving many lives. He has been cited for his work at the Shell Oil refinery explosion, the gas pipeline explosion in Edison, NJ, and for his dedication to the community. Mannie serves as a shining example for our entire ECT family.
